Zuzuway (the website zuzuway.com and the Zuzuway app for Android and iOS) helps small businesses create short videos and posts with AI and publish them to social media accounts they own. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and password (passwords are stored hashed — we can't read them).
- Content you create: posts, images and videos you upload or generate with AI in the app, your brand profile (business name, field, products, tone) and things you ask the Assistant to remember.
- Voice input (optional): when you tap the microphone to talk to the Assistant, the recording is sent to our server only to convert it to text, then deleted. We don't keep the audio.
- Photos and videos (optional): only the files you pick from your library. The app never reads your library on its own.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect a channel (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Threads, Pinterest…), we store the access token issued by that platform and basic page information — never your social media password.
- Purchases: your plan and payment status. In the Google Play / App Store versions, payments are processed by Google or Apple — we only receive the purchase token, product and subscription status needed to activate your plan. On the website, we keep the bank-transfer reference used to match a payment. We never store card numbers or bank login details.
- Messages from your customers (optional Customer care feature): if you connect a Facebook Page and turn on AI replies, we process the messages and comments people send to your Page, their public Facebook name, and contact details they choose to share in the chat (for example a phone number), to draft or send replies and to build your customer list. You decide which Pages are connected and can turn this off at any time; for this data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf.
- Diagnostics: when the app has an error we record the error message, the screen it happened on, the app version and the device model / OS version — never what you typed. We also keep basic usage records (for example, when a video was rendered or a post failed) to keep the service working.
- Content reports: if you report an AI-generated message or draft as inappropriate, we store the report and the reported text so our team can review it.
2. How we use your information
- To run the service: write content, render videos and publish posts on the schedule you set or approve.
- To answer you in the Assistant, send service notifications, and provide support.
- To improve quality and reliability of the product.
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising. We don't use tracking for ads and the app contains no third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
To deliver the service we use providers that receive only the minimum data needed for their task:
- Hosting and storage: Supabase (database, sign-in), Cloudflare (media storage), and our own server.
- AI writing and images: Google Gemini, DeepSeek and image-generation providers — they receive the prompt text (for example your topic and brand profile, or a customer's message when drafting a Customer care reply), not your account details.
- Voice-over: ElevenLabs, Vbee, MiniMax — they receive the script text to be read aloud.
- Publishing: Post for Me (and the social platforms themselves) to post content to the channels you connected.
- Meta (Facebook / Messenger): to read and reply to messages on Pages you connected for Customer care.
- Payments: Google Play and Apple App Store (app versions), and our bank's payment notification service (website).
If you connect YouTube, your use is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke access at any time in your Google security settings.
4. Storage and security
- Data is stored on encrypted cloud infrastructure with servers in Asia. API keys and secrets are kept in an encrypted vault.
- Each user can only access their own data (enforced at the database level).
- Automatic daily backups.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Generated media may be removed after it has been published and is no longer needed. When you delete your account, your data is deleted within 7 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, payment records).
6. Your rights and choices
- View, edit or delete your content at any time in the app.
- Disconnect any social channel at any time (Channels tab).
- Delete your account: in the app go to Me → Delete account, or see how to request deletion. Your account and data are deleted within 7 days.
7. Children
Zuzuway is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Important changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
